It's uh.. you know, dead but definitely ok if you have a solid four man friend group.

Definitely only buy when on a sale. A play through only takes about 2.5 hours. Has some bugs, but it does have two endings

So like, the ♥♥♥♥ happened?

Project Zomboid is an open world, RPG, survival, horror game, that excels in all departments. The map is massive, and feels realistic and more akin to our actual world. From house alarms, to businesses of all degrees, it's truly a unique map. The role playing aspect is also the main core of the game, which contributes to your survival. You are able to pick from a host of jobs that you could've had previously, which allow you to craft different items, attain more levels in skills, and allow you to have permanent traits such as being desensitized to the undead and their decaying corpses. You can also level up a ton of skills, but this will prove to be difficult and time consuming (can be altered in settings.) Oh and yes, believe it or not, this is a horror game. A zombie that surprises you (jumpscares you) will put your character into full panic mode, and play a rather unsuspecting sound for your fantastic ears! To add to all of that, in single player (not multiplayer) you are given a single life, one in which you must live for as long as you can without dying obviously. If you do die, you start completely from scratch, in a new world. This is the one setting for single player that you cannot change, not even with mods. You just get one shot to do what you can before luxuries like electricity and running water are shutdown, and you are on your own forever to survive. So yeah, I give this game a 5/5.

Plane crashed into runway and killed 262 people, talk about a kill streak!

Forge mode has no offline mode and you can get kicked for idling, pretty frustrating if you spent a ton of time on something and then just lost it all because you took a quick break.

So, I have yet to beat the main story on medium difficulty yet, but I'm really enjoying this game. It's extremely difficult, and fun, at the same time.

Very good game, 10/10, would experience PTSD again.

Nostalgia.

By far, one of my favorite shooters. As Dev JustinTime told me "It's a niche little game, not meant for everyone."
