My review is that it's just not fun, it's pretty but after an hour of playing nothing about it has made me want to continue or play again. It is very new though so it's possible it will get better but from what i've experienced i'm not seeing how it will evolve to much.

I can't recommend this game where you can't add or remove roofing.... literally killed the game for me.

R & C never disappoints! if you want to play hard battles or if you want a chill story playthrough [like me ^_^] i recommend it 100%

It's not bad, it's basically a clean up simulator at the moment, there is very little customisation with characters, not much you can do in the way of designing your "yard" there are forced things that take up room and are just annoying which the game could honestly do without. There are things meant to help ease the tedious back and forth but they currently don't work very well....

It probably seems weird i put recommend when i had so many negatives but if you're the type of person who likes simulators and games that give you active tasks i think you'll like it regardless of those things and Also the game is in it's early stages so there are many things that can and will be added, removed, fixed, changed etc....

My best suggestion is to try it, give it a real shot and have fun with it while not expecting it to be a world breaking hit game.

I love that I can play it solo, in my own time! there is no storyline that is rushing me through so it's MY pace which I adore [i'm looking at you MTAP]

anyways 14 hours in and still enjoying it! strongly recommend at this point at least ^_^

Although admittedly frustrating at times [probably because of my poor management lol] this game is a great time waster.... and a lot of time at that, one of those "i'll play for 20 minutes....oh crap it's been 2 hours" type of games ^_^

If you don't spend your life listening to others crap on everything then you'll prob enjoy this, it's a great open world game, though take your time, if you rush through it i can see how it might be a bit meh.... but the world is so beautiful and there's a lot to do even if you play casually. If you're looking for hardcore FF non-stop fighting etc then this may be to laid back for you? i dunno, either way I enjoy it a lot.

So far i'm enjoying it quit a lot however I can't give it a good rating until it gets a better save system, if i need to rush off quickly or my Aussie internet does what it does best and drops out while i'm playing etc i just lose all my progress because you have to sleep to save, it's suck an old way of saving and always been irritating.

Im so disheartened at this point :( the things I loved about MTAP are gone, the smooth beautiful art work has been replaced with the same old 3d CGI as most rpg type games these days T_T After waiting so unbelievably long for this release i'm just....underwhelmed. Also it rivals sims 4 with the endless loading screens, it's not smooth, it's clunky and again what made MTAP different is just replaced with...not it. I Guess i'll do another review after i've played longer but right now i honestly don't even want to play more.

TL:DR: I just wanted to run around the amazing smooth anime type world like in portia, sandrock is just another clunky 3d cgi game with so many loading screens, nothing particularly special.

as for positives i'm sure that it has a lot but right now i can't see them through my disappointment.

honestly it's great, I could go into all the reasons why but i don't wanna type it and you prob don't wanna read it, so here it is, if you like open world, survival, builder games with a peaceful or creative option which you can play alone OR with your friends, this is for you.
