It's really a shame that this game didn't get the recognition it originally deserved. This has to be one of the best FPS campaigns I have played in a while. From the mission design, set pieces, and movement system, this game was ahead of its time. I totally recommend buying this game for the campaign alone as that is what I played mostly at the time of writing this review. If you want to get into the multiplayer I'd suggest installing the Northstar client which is pretty easy to set up with the help of a YouTube tutorial. I've only played a little multiplayer, but I can tell that it will be super easy to log in hundreds of hours just mastering the movement. Some players in these lobbies are absolute movement demons. All in all this game is a masterpiece and I can't vouch for it enough. LONG LIVE BT

Though there isn't much to talk about gameplay wise with Firewatch. The way it is able to tell a compelling narrative is what makes it great. What really makes this game shine is the voice acting and setting. It is through these things that it excels in providing the player with an immersive world and personable characters. Firewatch is mostly an interactive movie more so than a game, but the story it tells makes the playtime worth it.
