OFFSET is a scam group, they friend you, talk a little and then ask for you to try out for a team. After that they'll attempt to steal your items and/or jack your entire account. They have other methods but that's the one I've seen most often.

If you haven't set up SteamGuard and 2-Step verify I'd highly recommend it. Don't let these jerks ruin your day.
