The word “gospel” means “good news” and is used to describe the message of salvation that is found in Jesus Christ. The gospel message is summarized in the following six key truths of the GOSPEL Journey:

1. God created us to be with Him.
2. Our sins separate us from God.
3. Sins cannot be removed by good deeds.
4. Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
5. Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life.
6. Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.

The gospel message is the good news that Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for our sins so that we might become the children of God through faith alone in Christ alone. It is the sum total of the saving truth as God has communicated it to lost humanity as it is revealed in the person of His Son and in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible.
