Another Crabs Treasure is anywhere from 40 to 60 hours of challenging fish-themed fun; witty, crabby dialogue and not-so-thinly-veiled anti-capitalist sentiment - which isn't for everyone, but is surely for some. The game is clear in its message - we need to address how our consumption is affecting the world around us - but there's no time at which the point detracts from the game's enjoyability.

The platforming is fun; the combat and shield (shell) system is well thought out and the skills progression system lets you customise Krill's build to your own, tailored style of play. The bosses form a perfect balancing act. They're challenging and frustrating in measures that you'd expect from any soulslike - leaving you shaking the monitor one second, telling the screen: 'one more time', and having you proudly announcing your victory the next. Furthermore, there are options to make the experience easier, so you aren't locked into a game that you feel that you can't win.

If anything, the game sometimes lags but not to the extent that it ruins the experience - at least for me, personally. It's definitely worth purchasing if you're new to soulslikes or if you just want a short, sweet stint in the ocean that'll leave you with a poignant message and a hankering for further challenges.

We've had great fun, it's a great Coop game with great graphics. Some younger folks say the story is a bit Meh but I'm 50 and appreciated what I thought was a well balanced perspective of reconnecting through mutual respect and honesty balanced with individual goals and shared responsibilities. Good stuff!
