It's crazy what u can do in this game!
A lot of fun and especially relaxing to play after a long days work.
Nothing more to say.

This is a very relaxing game. as is with Townscaper, Dorfromantik and co. it aims at being visually pleasing while doing some tasks of balancing environments and eco-systems. The play time of the main 4 levels is about 4-8hours depending on difficulty and wether one rushes it or goes for a complete finish.
In my opinion it could be a little cheaper as others have also said before, however it still has good potential for further maps and development so I for my part hope there will be new regions to discover in the future.
As far as I can see there aren't really any bugs though I had a problem at several points where one loses the game by doing something too early (don't wanna spoiler) and you don't get told, resulting in having to restart the region since you can't reverse some processes (SPOILER: the problem has to do with Lava getting turned into stone). Maybe it's actually wanted to be that way but I found it to be kind of fustrating the first time. But hey it kind of also poses a challenge and maybe I was just too incautious.
Other than that it really is fun to play and I can defenitely recommend the game as long as it is on sale or something.

After 60hours (in these first two weeks) I have to say that this game is highly addictive!! The complexity which makes it very hard to understand in the first like 40hours (and beyond) really remind you of other paradox games. However not to worry!! The complexity also as always means that the economic simulator that this game is is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ accurate that this game likely wont get boring in the next few months. As long as ur interested in this type of game.

Long story short: If u like the industrial period and love to build ur own economy this is a must have.
For those who love to wage wars all the time as in hoi4 for example dont even think about buying this game since wars are not only weird but also really bad game-wise... (at least in most cases)

bugs and overpriced battlepasses have made this game a pain in the ***. However its still one of the greatest games of its kind and it offers a lot of replayability!
I will recommend this game but be warned that the game is not t h e perfect one...

I've known about and played this game from the very start and I have to say it really is a great game. In my opinion its a cute medieval themed ANNO1800 of sorts. Having translated some minor parts into german I can say that the developers are really kind and invested too.
Overall you can say that Kingdoms and Castles is the perfect example of a little game by a little publisher being top of the notch in terms of quality (especially for that price :D)
