This is the best tank game ever, so realistic and I have made it all the way up to the leo 2A5 in the German tech tree and 10.7 M1A2 Abrams in the Americans and T80U in the russians it has just been a blast. Btw this game is very tempting to buy premium currency (Golden eagles) but just be careful on what u use them on for, the fact some purchases are a complete ripoff. This game is also very welcoming to new players I would recommend starting with the Russians or Germans, they are the two best starting off countries and the most enjoyable. This game has cost me $1800.00+ AUD in just currency and premium vehicles so be very careful with your money it has almost become an addiction for me in the past 2 years and do not waste as much as i have because it is not worth it at top tier, it costs me 18,000 lions each time i spawn my M1A1 and you will need at least 9 kills to break even without premium, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE PROFIT AT TOP TIER WITHOUT PREMIUM and premium costs you around $160.00 AUD without the half price sale that happens on war thunders birthday so i would advise you to purchase it then.
Just have fun with it and if u don’t enjoy the modules and crew realism head over to World of tanks that uses HP instead modules, but would not recommend just because it’s a pretty trash game, to much grind.

This part of my review is around a year later since you last read that last bit, but what im going to talk about here is the way war thunder is heading at the moment. It hasn't changed a bit, still broken and unloved by the creators but there is still one more thing that has changed, and it is that the game is becoming even more of a grind and the games ♥♥♥♥ servers are still getting worse, the mechanics are still broken and out of date due to the UI not changing since alpha and yet its still getting more content rammed up its ass. This game is a complete money grab, i haven't spent a single bit of money on this game for about half a year now and its been great only due to the stupid amount of money i spent on this game previously which i greatly regret. This game has stupidly bad metas that seem to never change and only get worse, i barely get any enjoyment out of this game any more, i just play a few LOW tier rounds (Becasue thats where the fun is at, well what fun you can find) and get depressed on how bad the game is getting and hop off. In return dont give these greedy russian ♥♥♥♥♥ any of your money and just play the game for what it is which is a glitchy, broken unbalanced game. Also most if not all players are toxic as ♥♥♥♥ and will spawn camp you and call you a nerd for telling them to stop spawn camping and play the objective.
