Finally! The game is actually fun now! Used to play this game everyday since the first week of launch, stopped around Aug 7th up until the Sept 17th update that buffed 30+ weapons/strats. Fixed a lot of bugs and even reworked several enemies. Super Earth is still missing 177 countries worth of Helldivers to help us join in this fight for freedom and democracy.

Phenomenal game, only really have some minor complaints after many great patches. I could certainly say that this game feels mostly completed. Firstly, playing this game with only 8 GB of RAM is going to be fairly difficult to run this title. Lowering textures does help immensely with getting consistently high frames at most times. They've been addressing that issue since Day 1 but as it stands it still needs more tweaking. Thankfully they're on top of it as to be expected for the game's development support. The other minor issue
I have would be the vote kick system. It initially takes 2 players in a 24 player slot filled server to initiate a server-wide vote, which is perfectly fine. The problem however is that it only takes 4-0 (Out of 12 players) votes to go through. Thusly a group of players could potentially abuse the kick system implemented. Granted this is rare, however in some cases the rest of the players aren't intending to place their vote in. Either due to not having a stance or too focused to even notice. The kick would be in favor of a minority instead of either the other way around or right in the middle. I have a feeling that some would disagree and I would certainly like to know why that would be out of genuine curiosity.

So how about dat gameplay though? Well Sunny Jim this is far from your usual/casual shooters, mostly in terms of the PvP. Co-Op is a perfect way for a beginner to dip their toes into a hardcore, authentic-simulation FPS. Time To Kill (TTK) is incredibly fast depending on a multitude of factors. Caliber, Range and armor type. If a dude is 400 meters out with a .50 cal and hits you in the chest with a heavy armor set. Chances are you're more likely that you'll go down in one hit. Any lower and you're far more likely to live. Not to say that they can't double tap from that range. But you get the idea, getting shot by another player or even an A.I. is both terrifying and thrilling at the same time. Couple that with the voice actors swearing like sailors and get louder as they get shot. And you've got yourself a game with absolute character. If a free weekend pops up anytime in the near future. Give the game a good try and consider if it's right for you. Personally and as you can tell, I really enjoyed this game including the previous ones. Hopefully we'll be seeing more content from them coming around within this year with a plentiful amount.

While although the story is certainly a boring and incredibly generic fantasy tale. The gameplay certainly doesn't play out like it. Gotta think a lot more like Kevin McCallister. Though I'm certainly not the only one to use that example. Fighting any of them head on is always difficult given their high amount of health and damage output, even on a normal difficulty this is still a great challenge. There is a mod called Unlimited Edition Mod where it includes many modes and fixes that I consider to be needed. Though as always it is totally up to you. Bugs are prominent but not always frequent. The only thing that is frequent is the crashing. This game for me crashes quite often. I could get two hours in before I crash. Besides that I honestly wish this was more implemented in fps fantasy type games. Movement working with attacks works wonders with this game. Making your enemies fall or getting into traps is endless satisfaction.
