truly a masterpiece the Lourve needs an interactive section just for this game

The action is reminiscent of the homeworlds yes some things are different but it would be lazy if they weren't. there is far more use of cover and concealment which is much needed. The problem is some of the ai hugs the walls too much but it is a negligible complaint. The game could use some pauses in between at least some of the fights it jumps to quickly from mission to mission even if it is story-relevant. A few chances to admire my stolen fleet would be nice. Overall a great experience though.

City builder/tower defense.
The game lets you choose your style of pathing/tower defense while you ever worry about your city and its many needs.
Great game stop reading reviews and go play it.
