its a step in the right direction and a good addition to the souls-like genre worth playing but beware it is NOT a fromsoft game so don't expect fromsoft style quality in everything take it on its own merits and enjoy the ride

its an absolute joyride from start to finish, rest assured that when expansion packs with more gameplay content come out this guy will be among the first.
to think this was basically made by 1 dude still blows my mind

TLDR:
if you can afford it buy it you won't regret it

old but gold moddable like all hell and overall just hours upon hours of fun

tho if u dislike reading in a game this one has a lot of reading

excellent game with great replay value and a world more than worth immersing yourself in

buy it on sale trust me the story isn't anything special but it will provide u with a couple of hours of fun
ps double daggers are fun as all hell

i may be a little biased couse it was my first game ever but its fun semi tactical turnbased gameplay and feels a little like chess set in a high fantasy setting its fun and has lots of replay value. doing the multiplayer hot seat ageinst the pc is a bucketload of fun and with a lot of maps to choose from its an overall good game
