My laptop has some really good specs, way above the recommended requirements in every department and it could not run this game. It stuttered every 5 seconds in the first level, even during cut scenes. I tried lowering my settings to the lowest possible, no improvements. I followed guides and steam discussions on what settings to change, no improvements. I tried playing Offline Mode, no improvements. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no improvements. I tried restarting my laptop, no improvements. I tried editing the configuration and engine settings files, no improvements. I tried changing the compatibility to Windows 8, no improvements. I don't have AMD so it can't be related to that.

I am not mad honestly, just disappointed.

Omori is the only game that made me cry when listening to a kazoo cover of its soundtrack.

This game is a gateway drug into Indie Games, be careful when taking the Shovel pill.

When I played Hollow Knight for the first time I pogo'd on a single enemy and went "OMG its Shovel Knight" and played through the entire story.

When I played Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, I saw the Knight unit and went "OMG it has a shield like Shield Knight" and beat every campaign.

I played Omori and saw the pixel graphics and went "OMG its just like the Shovel Knight artstyle" and 100% the entire game and even learnt how to mod Omori.

I went outside and saw grass, thought "Shovels dig up grass" and realised that grass is a Shovel Knight reference making me want the earth to reclaim me so I could become Dirt Knight.

Update as of 2024:
I have now 100%'d Shadows Over Loathing, Super Lesbian Animal RPG, Bug Fables and Slay the Princess. I have like 5 Indie Games in my backlog at all times. I have also been modding Terraria.

10/10 game, allowed me to become French.

Pros:
- The movement is so good. It really adds "Chaos" to the mix.
- Guns feel more unique and separate from other shooters.
- Explosions.

Cons:
- I want more people to download this game.
- I want more players.
- Please, I am desperate.
