I, like I assume many people, followed this games development on youtube and it looked charming, and it certainly is, but if you're like me and have no friends then you're stuck with the online matchmaking. There's no way to kick opposing players, so they can just go into the menu for switching their abilities and just never go out of it, forcing you to quit the game entirely. There's no way to easily leave a party either, so if you get put into a match with people you dont like you also have to restart the game. There are also a variety of abilities and strategies that fundamentally take away from the enjoyment of the game. Any match that's going well will inevitably devolve into people using techniques that just aim to stall out the game, or use a combination of abilities to go to the edge of the screen and just shoot a shot every 10 seconds, then go behind an impossible to get around cover to wait for their offensive ability to recover. Also, the grappling hook ability is incredibly frustrating, as a player could simply hook you (which is incredibly easy to do) and pin you to a small area of the battlefield where you cant do anything, and there's no way to move away from it. These would be acceptable if they werent extremely common ability combinations that are used in the games frustratingly poor designed online mode. If you have friends, I'm certain it's extremely fun, but I personally think the games online mode is far too frustrating to recommend

Edit: Drill + Stone + Dash players can suck ♥♥♥♥, no way you have fun with that

One of my favorite survival games, a bunch of reviews complain about how unforgiving it is, but you should look into the game before you buy it, because that's one of the main selling points. If you wanna play stardew valley or something, this game isnt for you. But it's a tough as nails, uber hard survival game and I'm all here for it

Genuinely an amazing game and is only going to get better with time. The game is so relaxing but is never boring. It always feels like there's something you could be doing from improving your base to exploring the world. Speaking of the world, it's phenomenal. So many jaw-dropping moments or ones that make your stomach turn, every area of the map feels like it has something unique about it, and the way the map evolves as you progress in the story feels so natural but always has you coming back to explore areas you've already seen head to toe. I usually don't leave reviews, but the game and its creators are so amazing I just had to speak for them. 100% recommend, and I see myself playing way more soon
