'the forest' was one of the first survival games i ever played and although there are better ones out there, it has to be my all-time-favourite yet. i enjoyed the base building, the story was decent, fighting was fun and damn the mutants used to scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of me.
what i didnt like about the game was that one page in the notebook: while it provided info on health stats such as sickness and infection (which affected you as your stamina and/or fullness decreased faster), it also kept track of your overall sanity and calorie intake. as far as i know, you unlock a few new buildings when your sanity drops to a certain point, but thats it. other than that, it doesnt seem to affect the gameplay at all. same with the calories. either a calorie deficit doesnt change anything at all, or it has so little effect that you wouldnt notice a little increase in hunger.
but that shouldnt keep you from playing the game as its really worth buying it :)

survival, strategy, base building.
if those categories sound good to you, you'll LOVE rimworld!
you can change the difficulty whenever you like, it's beginner friendly and gets more complex the more you research and progress.
idk what more there is to say! this game is huge, the possibilities are near endless.
there are game endings as far as i know, but that doesnt have to be the focus.
also, mods.
you can basically play this game forever and never get bored :D
it may seem a bit expensive, but definetly worth the price!

the first steps are definetly hard, but after around an hour it gets easier to understand. in my opinion, its the best resource management game ive ever played. its hard, but thats whats so fun abt the game!

its super short and basically a walking simulator. its ok though, i expected way more after playing "what remains of edith finch". when on sale, buy it. its cute. :)

now that its free, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AWESOME!
the gameplay is super simple but the different runes and "merging" those together are really complex and fun!
10/10 would recommend

its.. ok. definetly not as good as the first part, but its ok.
some scenes are boring, i didnt quite catch up on the story, but the gameplay was good and the graphics were AWESOME.
similar to the first part you have a "save room" where you end a chapter and start a new one which is cool. also the environment around you changes which im always a fan of.
overall, if your expectations are rather low, play it!
if theyre rather high like mine were, meh, you would be disappointed.

beautiful world/s and graphics. ive been playing this game for a few years and have to say, the updates are really awesome.
the mechanics and possibilities to create and build are endless. even when you reasearch everything (which i havent achieved in my hours of playing it yet), theres still enough planets to expand to!

we have encountered one nasty bug in multiplayer tho. when i host, my coop sometimes cant drive vehicles.
he would sit and drive normally, leave the vehice and go back in - and he cant drive. its annoying.
sometimes itll get fixed by the host driving the vehicle or reloading the game.

even when visiting another planet or teleporting, theres no annoying loading screens or lags, even when playing with multiple people on different planets.

overall, 9/10 because of one annoying bug :)

the campaign is rather short, but a great tutorial to get to know the basics, but its not too easy!
theres plenty of ways to play this gamer after finishing the campaign.
build your own prison?
play as warden?
try to escape from a prison as an inmate?
the game got it all! i binged played this, probably around 10hrs a day for 3 days straight.
the graphics are awesome, its blocky and simple, so you wont lose the focus on the actual gameplay.
for me, this game is a 9/10.
that one point is missing because there are a few bugs which mostly can be fixed by simpling saving and reloading the prison.
one bug i encountered that reloading didnt fix:
my psychopath prisoners always had the drowning effect, although they werent even close to water.
overall, a great game!

i mean, das spiel haelt das, was es verspricht.
dennoch haette ich mir mehr gewuenscht.
ich lief eine stunde lang einem wildschwein hinterher, mit schleichen und warten und idk, auf dauer ist es sehr langweilig.
schoen waere es, wenn man wenigstens ne base bauen kann, ausguckplattformen.

ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, es zu empfehlen oder nicht. wenn du stundenlang ein tier beobachten und jagen willst, go for it.
aber spannung ist was anderes.
