Bought the game for profile customization purposes only. turns out its not elegible for showcases... well sometimes you should read before you buy.

Game itself is just fine.

First of all I like the world. I dont mind the tweaked environment/map size, the more vibrant colors. But the graphic effects (motion blur/lens flare, etc) could be tuned down a bit, to get more of the gritty original atmosphere/look.
I think on some spots they could get rid of a few human made structures and make the environment even more nature-rough/"untouched" but as said that is not really a game braking thing but more of a personal preference.
I am talking specifically about some of the wooden structures that are like small platforms with a staircase
that lead to nowhere and dont seem to have a purpose other than filling the space.

Now to the things that actually bother me:
-You cant skip dialouge, draws out interactions and frustrates if you want to quickly continue especially after a reload if you have listen to everything again.
-The main character talks too much with himself/the player behind the screen at more or less "key" points in the story, simply annoying and "cringy" for example the interaction with the scavengers in the first night was kind of weird.
-The dialouge option menu, very compromised and doesnt exactly shows what you will really say in the end.
-The combat system, i think its clunky and not very fun, its kind of like for honor and i simply dont enjoy fighting like that.
-Looting containers, too stretched out aswell, UI takes too much time to appear/disappear, make it more lightweight and faster.

If the game is like the teaser i wont buy it because its just annoying on so many spots. Although i dont see the game as a lost cause as many other people do. I think if they mindfully rebuild gothic whilst listening to fan feedback they can deliver a awesome game.

Way too much collectable stuff out there + huge ingame purchases for fancy/more functional vehicles.
But if you put these things aside it is a solid game with awesome gameplay especially if you are in the unlikely situation that you have real life friends you can play the game in a well implemented coop mode with.

Also amazing customizability. Total civilian clown or tacticool operator the choice is all yours.

Want to get greeted by flashy lights, moving backgrounds and animated scenes on your desktop?
Well this program will make you boot up your PC just for the sake of staring at your respective obnoxiously overanimated wallpaper.

Good stuff, should be a default feature for all operating systems.

Enjoyed it at the launch of the game and many hours after. And I am glad I did because the core gameplay is simply immersive and amazing. BUT I dont like the way the game is going, its still often unoptimized, updates bring new content which is good but it almost always introduces new long lasting bugs...

To be fair NWI still supports this game 2 years after launch and brings out new content every half a year which is not common anymore.

I run the game on 16Gig RAM, 5700XTOC and a R5 2600X OC to a stable 4GHz and i still get performance issues.

Wenn man Bock drauf hat nach 1 1/2 Std (ca 70 % der Kampange in meinem Fall) Spielzeit einfach elendig zu verrecken, dann ist dieses Spiel genau das richtige.

Alles in allem ist es eine geiles Indigame was definitv Spaß macht.

One of the most atmospheric games i've ever played.
