作为一个竞技游戏，DOTA2本身在竞技性上无疑是成功的，但是游戏环境、上手难度确实对新手不友好。
对于玩家来说，DOTA2的游戏时长永远不会背叛你，一分耕耘一分收获，只要足够酬勤都能上分，虽然一开始会因为它的复杂而被劝退，但当你逐渐摸索出战局中的千变万化、队友间的默契配合时无疑会为其折腰。
在模型画质方面，DOTA2虽然没有什么看上去好看的模型，但在模型精细度上没有一个MOBA游戏能与DOTA2比肩。
给新手的建议：利用好第一个月送的PLUS会员尽快熟悉游戏，找到适合自己的英雄，不要理会队友的恶言相向，大可以屏蔽。
