There's nothing more satisfying than obliterating a developing nation's civil infrastructure for a Just Cause. 3.

Imagine Grand Theft Auto, but you can hack civil infrastructure and people's cell phones. That's WD2. It really gives a lot more freedom to approach missions in unorthodox ways, and you can completely clear out an area without firing a single shot if you're smart about it. The driving is pretty decent, and the map is beautiful, although I do wish that there were more public transit options (ie. Caltrain, BART). As it stands, only Muni cable cars and streetcars can be seen, and only the cable cars can be ridden. However, their inclusion isn't exactly critical to the gameplay, that's just a very niche personal gripe of mine. It also features a diverse, loveable main cast (especially Wrench) and an intriguing story to go along with them. And even the random NPCs on the streets feel so alive, especially when you invade their privacy by reading their text messages or tapping into their phone calls. In conclusion, WD2 is a fantastic game if you're a fan of GTA-esque games or stealth games. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that it's SUPERIOR to GTA 5.

GTA IV is a great game. Fantastic story, entertaining police chases. In fact, I'd even argue that the police chases in GTA IV are more fun than GTA V, owing to the driving physics, police AI, dynamic traffic, and the dense urban environment of Liberty City. However, in spite of this, the game does suffer from some glaring issues. The optimization is very poor in some areas of the map, which can lead to severe lag spikes. The pedestrian movement and combat system are also janky and leave something to be desired, though I suppose this is kind of an inherent shortcoming of the Grand Theft Auto series in general. Regardless, this game is 100% worth the price in my opinion.

The base game’s story is pretty good even if the multiplayer was hard to get into, but the LSPDFR mod was what really enhanced the game’s replayability.

Definitely one of the best real-time strategy games I've played. Oh yeah, it's also supposedly a first-person milsim game. I don't know, I just spend 90% of my time in Eden/Zeus playing it like an RTS.

If you get Garry's Mod, you really don't have to purchase any other game ever again, because you can make it into any other game.
