Got the game during a sale, honestly pretty fun despite what I thought from all the reviews. Can't deny how fun it is to mow down mobs of dinosaurs and see the numbers tick up. The children yearn for the war games.

I know a lot of backlash came from the presence of lootboxes, but unless I'm dumb and missing a button, they're not even monetized and you get one like every two matches AND you can easily buy cosmetics with an easily acquired in-game currency. Really the only paid system is the premium pass. (idrc about seasons so I'm not gonna chip in on that argument.)

Lack of an actual story mode is definitely one of the big negatives (even if i like the story characters a lot, they're all very charming)

If you are planning on getting it, much more worth it on sale tho.

I've been in love with this game since it released back in November. The enemy designs & environment are great, the soundtrack is phenomenal, and I can't help but love all the characters & The Deadsuit. My only gripe if anything is loose ends in the story and some things not being completely fleshed out, but as it stands now Ghost Song is a lovely experience with just the right amount of challenge.

Also I love all the gun modules. skab device for the win
