Hey!

I currently am writing this at 323 reviews mixed.

I like the game, the storytelling and cutscenes are cute and interesting.
My main issue right now are bugs, I have had to remake my save 3 times due to a progression and non responsive UI issue.

I wouldn't define this as a roguelike, which I would say is my most disappointing point. It's just a turn based RPG with expendable pawns and base-building elements.

Overall - 7/10 for what it is. Pending they fix the bugs, I would say 8/10.

One word. Disappointed. For years I have waited for Elder Scrolls 6 and even when it was announced there would be this game before it, I was nothing but excited. I couldn't see a world where Bethesda created another empty game (I'm talking about you 76) and I couldn't see them spending this much time on this "New Universe" unless it was going to be utterly game changing for the entire community. I have avoided all spoilers, I have seen no reviews. I started fresh and clean, open minded and curious. Here are my Pro/Con bullets so far...and I'll start by saying the beginning of the game was so uninteresting and did nothing to grab my attention to even care what was happening. Literally every single Fallout/ES did an amazing job at this. How did you mess this up?
.
Pro -
- Nice lighting inside buildings
- Simple fallout style combat, feels nice
- Sarah Morgan
Con -
- Borderline uninstall worthy slow start
- Horrible interface, but lets be honest they started this with Skyrim...we all know it was bad on PC
- Cities full of useless NPCs, "Citizen"..get use to seeing that. I roamed around the first city for about 10 minutes before I saw someone with an actual name, and when I did, it was just some kid missing his parents and no interesting dialogue to follow up
- No info on the current lore/factions so literally it's like you wake up with amnesia but that's not even how the story goes. Def feel like for a game this big you should get some Intro scene with some explanation

All in all - It feels like they got so caught up in making this massive generating world, I would rather them have made 5-12 planets with flushed out characters, storylines, and literally any level of depth to it all. Feels like a sandbox game with no box and little sand. My disappointment is next level. At this rate I just hope they don't ruin Elder Scrolls 6.
