So there I was, 5am in the morning CS surfing by myself. All my friends on discord were fast asleep and I was alone in call. Letting my thoughts override me and I could feel myself slipping into a very dark place. I had thought about it a lot before but it hadn’t been as bad as it was that night. Partially one of the reasons why it was so memorable. I was holding on by a thread and the thoughts kept rushing in. One by one they got more depressing and chaotic, my mind became so twisted and for a moment, numb. I didn’t realise I was in a public surfing room till I heard his voice connect. “Yo, sup my man” was his first words. It wasn’t much but it was enough to snap me out of my thought coma and bring me back to reality. Immediately he could detect the emptiness in my voice and I guess it wasn’t hard to tell. It started off slow and it took a while for me to open up but his voice was so comforting and it made me feel warm.
