If the devs don't start listening to the advice and ideas from their player base to make the game more fun and wacky, NOT more balanced for a competitive shooter. This game will not survive.
And the worst part is, this is one of the most fun and unique games of recent times. But in an effort to make it hyper-competitive, you removed all the parts that make it fun.
Little Lars bomb rush-down was fun to play as and against. Yes, at times it was incredibly frustrating, but nerfing him into the dirt is not the solution.
This game is by nature unbalanced because it can often come down to luck of the draw. But THAT was what made it so special and fun. The way drawing a powerful card could turn the tide of a match, and the feeling of beating your enemies after they burned a bunch of strong cards was incredible!
The fun of building a deck and choosing a character to suite your play style or for a funny gimmick (like going to the moon) was amazing.
I loved playing this game, and honestly I want to play it more, but the fun nature of it being card based shooter where your luck could turn tide of battle, but not so much that superior skill and strategy couldn't still win was like nothing else!
Bring back that feeling of powerful cards and luck being just enough to allow you to beat better players, and the feeling of better skill and strategy enabling you to barely beat your opponents even when they drew super powerful cards.
If you can bring this game back to its roots of being focused on fun and crazy cards and NOT on being a super competitive shooter, then your player base WILL come back, because it truly was fun to play Friends Vs Friends.

*Edit 2* the devs for this game are very pleasant and helpful with resolving the issue. I don't know if the bug still exists as I completed all the railway quests (which is the cause of the bug) so it is no longer an issue for me.
*Edit* Currently in contact with the devs to try to fix the issue
