I can really recommend the game. Graphics, building and other things compared to first the forest have developed significantly. But the game is still in early access so huge amount of things are still incomplete and full of bugs but if you are new to game series, first the Forest is definitely worth playing and wait this game to be completed before starting to your new survival.
