This game has been abandoned and allowed to rot for half of a decade now while bot hosters make the game virtually unplayable through mass deployment of aimbots. Not even a coordinated attempt by most of the community to make Valve fix their useless and outdated anti-cheat system resulted in anything more than a single tweet offering thoughts and prayers.

This game may be free to play, but in its current state I'd still call it a waste of your money.

To this day I still find it downright absurd that such an iconic and timeless game has been left to decay for so long.
