It's OW but with characters I actually like

I bought this for $0.99. It is a great game for that price. For the full price, I would say this game is not worth it. The movement is pretty clunky at times and you can only shoot your bow in 8 different directions, despite having a controller with an analog stick.

The ideas of this game are great, but it fails to meet my expectations of what is promises. The magic system doesn't make the spells feel unique enough. For the enemies being randomly generated and using a neural network to learn your playstyle, the monsters all felt the same: just a mess of limbs ragdolling towards you that you just shoot from a distance. After getting through the first stage, beating the enemies felt more like a chore than a game. Despite the skill tree and artstyle being cool, the core gameplay loop fails to be compelling,

I heard about this game two years ago when it got a closed beta, and it looked amazing. I forgot about it until yesterday, and it's as good as i thought it would be.

Gameplay overall feels sweet: it's not exclusively based on rng (though it is a BR) and there is a big enough skill gap for competitive players, but it's not so big that a new player would be miserable
