“A Plague Tale: Requiem” is the second part of the Plague Tale “series” and it improved everything from the first game . The story is interesting and while dark in most times some sunshine pierces trough the hardship Hugo, the older sister Amicia and other companions have to endure. The gameplay mostly depends on sneaking like in the first game but the more you progress the more options to aggressively take situation becomes available. The progression also is divided in the crafting part we had in the first game and a “skill” part where you get better at specific action by doing them. For example, if you often times act aggressively you will upgrade this skill tree over time.

So yes, if you liked the first part (Innocence) you will absolutely love the second part (Requiem) . I enjoyed my 18 hours in this cruel but still heart-warming story.

Battalion 1944
WAS a nice game. You have a fast paste game set in a WW2 setting. Well know weapons like the M1 Garand, STG 44 or Mosing Nagant are playable. The Maps look nice and creative.
Try it! It's free!!!

Just awesome "game". You can replicate every tank you know and create new one. The game isn't finished but evolves.

Destiny 2, you are a special one indeed
My background with Destiny

I first started playing Destiny 1, back then on PS4, in early 2016 (before the April update). I watched videos of a youtuber about this game. He made a playthrough of the vanilla story and I loved it. That looked so cool and fresh. So, I after getting a PS4 for Christmas I started playing D1. I had much fun and enjoyed it. After some months my friend started playing an I enjoyed the game even more. Doing some nighfalls with me standing in the back and shooting the boss wit Icebreaker while my friend died or for the first time getting carried through Crota were very special moments in my life. Then in 2017 Destiny 2 came out… and let’s say year 1 was “bad”. I was strong though. I played the game still until Forsake came around an saved the game for me and look at me I am still playing Destiny 2 to this day.

Story (no spoiler)

So, the story in Destiny was always something special. In Destiny 1 the story was kinda bad because of a reset merely some months before the games release in 2014. So the old story was trashed and revamped. The story was weird to say the least. Most of the good story was hidden in so called “Griomore cards” and not told by characters in game. In Destiny 2 the story began also kinda bad. “The Red War”, the original story of D2 was bedder than much of D1 but still mediocre. The two following DLC’s were also kind of bad in the story department. In year we got “Forsaken”, THE DLC to safe D2 and it did. The story is really cool. While all Year one storys (Red War + the first 2 dlcs) aren’t in the game anymore forsake is! Sadly, in some months it also will be vaulted [22.2.2021]. The other two newer DLC’s have okay story but nothing great. In Destiny the world of its story is huge. Every enemy and every weapon has some kind of story that is explored in loretabs you can read. So in general the ingame stories are getting better and better but they are still not the best in the world. If you are really interested in the story, you will find one of the most expanded storyworlds ever. (watch youtuber videos for that!)

Gameplay

This game is on one hand an egoshooter as you know it but on the other hand it’s a looting game. You have a grenade, a melee and many guns! But also, you have a class ability that is different from each class. Yes, there are classes in D2, 3 in total. The Titan (tank with a barrier), Warlock (healer/mage with healing-/damageboostrift) and the Hunter (agile rolling more or less PVP orientated). The gunplay in this game is fantastic, I don’t know how to describe it but it just feels awesome. Mods on your armour and exotics (rare armour/weapons with special perks) give you many ways of playing the game. You could specialize in healing mates, maxing out your damage potential or just have fun with some abilities.

What can I do in this game?

In this game there many activities. You have the “Crucible” with many different mods for the PVP players. The endgame of PVP in Destiny 2 is a playlist called “Trials of Osiris”. It’s only active on weekends and the final goal is to get 7 wins without loosing one! Another playlist in Destiny 2 is the “Ironbanner”. It comes around every like 1 month or so and your powerscore is active so newer players will get shredded in this playlist!!! For PVE we have the Strikeplaylist, a 3-men activity. It’s like you run a storymission with boss and some mechanics. Strikes can be played in the Nighfallplaylist which makes strike even hared. The highest nighfalls are for really good players, its part of the PVE endgame. Other PVE endgame activities are Dungeons and Raids. Dungeons are one step before Raids. They are 3 men activities with hard enemies and mechanics and bosses. If you get a team of 6 and you are high enough with your powerscore you can try a Raid. This is THE PVE endgame activity. Bosses, hard encounters with mechanics and the good loot. There is also “Gambit” which is a mixture out of PVE and PVP. I personally don’t like it much so I won’t say much about it you just have to try :D.

Graphic/Technical side

This game is beautiful. The skies on all planets are wonderful. This game just shows you some of the best places in gaming. This game can be played on mouse and keyboard or on controller. Both inputs feel really good.

Summary and verdict

Destiny 2 you are a special one indeed. You have beautiful worlds with intriguing storylines. Your gunplay fells awesome and your Loadout crafting is most times fun. The classes are interesting and your many modes for PVP and PVE give players many options. BUT! But the game also has its problems. In PVP weapons or exotics of are too strong for too much time, no new maps for a long time (some new were announced for the future). Gambit is a shtfest with many problems! PVE has cool Raids, Dungeons and Strikes but the loot is not every time worth it. The loot in general is varying from season to season. In one season you have many good weapons to search for and in the next none. The game has its problems but you should at least try it with a friend. The free game is not completely bad but to really “play” destiny you need at least some of the DLC’s.

NieR:Automata ... wow what a game
Story (no spoilers)

NieR:Automata is a really beautiful game with interesting, multifaceted characters which feel like real humans, even though thats exactly the point, they arent humans but androids. I can't say much because of the plot of the game but the protagonists 2B and 9S plus all sidecharacters are really well written and interesting (but some times a bit cryptic) . Their story in this ever changing wrathful world is breathtaking. You want to see every moment in this fantastic world. You have many ends to go (A-Z yes A to Z are all one end). The story even has big effects on the world you are playing (can't say much but you will be suprised).

Gameplay

This game is in it's foundation a Hack and Slash with cool bossfights and many weapons and upgrades. You are also not just fight on foot with flying weapons and the POD (a little companion that shots) but as well in a plane configuration. Then the game becomes kinda like a Shoot'em up. The fighting system is really quick with dashes and fast flying weapons.

Technical side

This game was originally developed for consoles (PS4). That's why playing this game with controller is recommendat. Playing with mouse and keyboard is possible but really awkward and poorly "optimized"(My first play through of the game was with mouse and keyboard). In generall some options you find for granted in other pc games are bad or even not at all included in NieR:Automata. So NieR:Automata is kinda a bad PC port.

Summary and verdict
"NieR:Automata ... wow what a game." That's how I started this review for good reasons. This game has one of the most beautiful storys I've ever seen. This world is a ever changing master piece with breathtaking views but the really bad execution of a pc port will prevent some people at enjoying this world like I and many other people had (you should really use a controller). This game is just a really special game you should try. When on sale, get this game!
