I don't believe everyone has time to set down and read a comprehensive guide to the entire game and the best way to have fun nor do I think that's an objective topic. What I will go over in this review is the likeness of Elden Ring to other From Soft games.

To keep it short it keeps a lot of good aspects from the late Dark Souls 3 in terms of certain animations, UI elements and other gameplay features, and it takes the brilliant world building of George R.R Martin to blow the story telling out of even the best Souls like game From Soft made in the past (In my opinion); Bloodborne.

Like other Souls games there are ways to undercut the difficulty if you're crafty enough and don't want to slam your head against a wall with certain builds or game aspects and the open world can even somewhat trivialize the beginning of the game making you over prepared for the early steps of the game.

With that being said that does in fact mean that the early game is the weak point of the game, as like other souls games there isn't a way to definitively tell what level you should be. The only reason this is an issue is because unlike other Souls Games this game makes it easier to overlevel by simply going around exploring since the world design isn't somewhat close designed like prior Souls games. Take that as you will and enjoy the exploration Tarnished.
