Head Bangers is certainly worth the purchase if you like what you see, and worth taking a look at even if you're not too sure. My hope is that it will rise in popularity with time, but my understanding of small-scale battle royales tells me it just won't last. Either way, I'm very happy with what this game is and has the potential to become, from the smooth controls to the polish of its design.

I'll have fun with Head Bangers until the end, whenever that may be.

It's been bugging me that hardworking developers, artists, designers, marketers, and everyone in between- all of whom are clearly passionate about their work- are being dragged through the mud for a decision that in all likelihood never fully rested upon their shoulders.

I understand that the Epic Games store and its reputation is subpar, to say the least. Everyone here knows the bad and the good about them. I'm not here to condone and/or support any of their practices.

But I am here to give my unpopular opinion that Mediatonic's poor choice to use Epic Games as a medium for creating accounts has quite honestly brought a lot of good with it. Crossplay existed before, but what will soon be possible is the ability to add people from all platforms as friends, which was supposed to be the main selling point of the move. We now have an easy way to implement usernames on PC, because when the game first came out we abused the game's structure to create names that could crash other people's PCs. Runtimes and loading times are better, and hackers are just about nonexistent at this point... all of this is just based on what I've personally noticed.

What I'm trying to say is that this is just a well-developed, silly little game to play in short bursts. If you want to support the creators, but want nothing to do with Epic, you can always make a burner account to enjoy the same old game it's always been. Please don't judge the game too hard just based on their new development alone. I think Fall Guys is good for what it is, and deserves a lot more love than that.
