very interesting and entertaining game from pve point of view , great in game lore and combat mechanics and very challenging for new players , and from pvp point of view this game is much refind and smooth than other series (DSR and DS2) however there are some issues like player to player base connection which causes people from far distance to each other lagging , and also cheaters are big issue for players new to this game however they can be avoided by playing pvp in lower soul level than meta level (125-133 is agreed to be a meta level for this game) , overall this game gets a 9.5/10 for pve and an 8.5/10 for pvp from me , definitely worth trying it out
