Overall good, the animated shorts for each chapters are always a treat to watch.
The performance is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, shouldnt have put drm in.
Some movesets of enemies are hard to see and have weird delay/ extending movesets, it wouldnt be an issues if the performance doesnt get in the way of learning them half the time.
A lot of items, equipment and spirits are unnecessary or useless (crit from jumping????)
Kinda find people screaming about lack of diversity to be funny cus the game do include them in the game (pigs and horses)

Not enough dragons

Combat is quick and snappy and agile, music is quiet nice. However, later stages ♥♥♥♥ your movement up really badly (stage 6 with their bs off screen black smokes) and have some really annoying enemies that makes fighting them tedious. The reposition from sword hit will put you into the center of the mobs, this usually brings you into hurt box of things, making it really tilting to see you getting 2-3 extra hit instantly. Guns are a cool concept, but half of them are just the old weapon but a bit stronger, without any other traits that set them aside. Gun mods and altar blessings should have more unique quirks.

Its a very beautiful little game that not much people talk about.
Music is really good, prolly the highlight of the game.
Combat is serviceable, sometimes enemies can touch you even tho visually youre not close to it. Some later area has some pretty aids enemy placement (last stage before final boss can fk off)
Bosses are fun to fight against, they are never too hard to pass but enough to make you be careful.
Story is a bit jumbled and will need to be pieced together, but it is satisfying to discover new things about it.
I wish there are voice acting for the memories, but having bgm while reading whats on the screen is not bad.
The map is quiet clunky to navigate, with no way to tell if you have explored the area fully or not, leading to a lot of back tracking.
Dont come into the game expect it to be similar to other games in the same genre.

Elden Ring

Pretty good pokemon metroid-esque game.
I would love to have more npc battles and more evolution, tho. But aside from that, a very solid game

Its 'aight. May need to play more to get the feel.
