Absolutely worth the $10, in fact I'd pay $20 or more.

I got this game ages back, I didn't really expect to like it but several of my friends told me to pick it up while it was on sale. I gladly would have payed full price for it.

It's a very fun little game and the developers actually listen to feedback and work on fixing issues.

By no means is it a $60 AAA game but I do highly recommend it, especially if you have a few friends to mess around with.
I don't see myself getting 600+ hours in this game, but I do see myself going on plenty more dives, (especially as it gets closer to and eventually has a full release)
