Recommend this game, but do have some mixed feelings about it.

I played for a few hours & built a small park. The game was enjoyable to play & ran very well.

What I liked:
-graphics and ambiance are amazing. Love the new guests & the crisp visuals. The music is quite pleasant.
-The rides were fun to play with and super customizable
-The pathing seems like a really powerful tool. I still haven't fully grasped it, but i assume with practice, lots of very cool things can be created.

What I disliked:
-Scenery seemed... limited... I found the game had pretty much the bare minimum of pieces to be creative. I also found that a lot of scenery categories seemed to be incomplete (example, corrugated roof was missing a lot of basic pieces that the viking roof had).
-The scenery selections seemed... weird... There are like 6 different wood roof types that are all super similar, but no traditional shingle roofs. Overall, I felt like unthemed pieces in particular were missing.
-The scenery seemed like it was missing something.. There were 2 scenery categories that were completely blank.
-The game seems to really incentivize the use of blueprints. If you want to build something custom, the UI forces you to push the "build your own" button every... single... time you want to build something. As someone who very rarely uses blueprints, I wish there was a way to reverse this button so that it defaults to custom & pushing the button accesses blueprints.
-Lighting was not able to be controlled via the scene creator thing.

What I very strongly disliked.
-I very strongly dislike the workshop. It is less functional than steam workshop, requires a frontier specific account to access it (I'm sick of absolutely everything requiring yet another pointless user account). I feel the whole trend of recent games (this game, cities skylines, etc) abandoning the steam workshop in favor of their poorly designed proprietary workshops really is a step backwards.

Overall, I have some hesitations, but I don't feel that they are strong enough to give the game "not recommended". Most of my gripes are pretty much just too few scenery pieces, which I'm 100% certain will be addressed with the inevitable future DLC/updates.
I felt that the game was very fun & felt very polished. I had a good time with it & look forward to playing it more.

What a fun game! I've been looking for something of similar genre to 'Titanic Adventure out of Time' & this game really hit the spot!

My first playthrough took about 7.5 hours. I'm excited to dive in again to explore all of the alternate endings.

The world: The open world & it's characters have a rather humorous vibe that really play on the stereotypes of a rural American town. I found it to be really exciting to explore the world and come across all the fun little details.
The world itself was well laid out and had lots of places to explore. It also feels like a lot of thought went into the layout to make it as functional as possible, (example, the fences have logically placed openings in them that make it easy to cross the map)

The Story: The story was very engaging from start to finish with lots of twists & turns. The characters were enjoyable to interact with & the difficulty seemed just right. I got stuck once & needed to talk to the cute dog to get assistance (what a fun hint mechanism), but otherwise I was able to figure out the story.
The ending in particular was incredible!

Visuals/Sound: I found the graphics to be a bit generic & unpolished. Kind-of reminds me of the generic Unity assets that tend to be used quite frequently in games. Scaling is weird (ex, gigantic bathtubs). The ambiance fits the mood though.
The soundtrack is very pleasant and fits the mood, though the mayor has some pretty weird music taste lol. I found that there tends to be a lot of pretty jarring cuts in sound though (ex, walking out of a building causes the building soundtrack to abruptly switch to "outside" soundtrack).
Overall, the graphics and sound aren't my favorite, but are still sufficient for getting immersed in the game (my comments are more nitpicks than anything)

Bugs/Issues: I did catch a few minor bugs, but nothing game breaking. Mostly just minor typos in the dialog descriptions. The closest to a game breaking bug was how the top right corner notifications tend to block the "X" when using a computer. It is always still clickable, but a bit hidden.

Overall, really fun game! Im excited to play it again.

Easily one of the best games ever created... Would 100% recommend.

Regarding gameplay: In this voxel based game, literally everything is destructible. The whole game revolves around this fact. The game is set up in a series of missions that are extremely well thought out, varied, and engaging. The missions vary from low-key/relaxing to the most heart pounding thrill I've ever seen. The missions typically give you as much time as you want to meticulously plan and prepare the map, then a mere 60 seconds to actually complete the mission once you start it.

Regarding the story: This game has a really cool story that develops with each mission. It is funny and thorough. I really looked forward to watching the story develop with the completion of each mission.

Regarding the graphics: The game has a really unique graphical style.. While everything is blocky (10cm voxels), the game looks really cool. I am particularly in love with the smoke physics.. The smoke actually fills a room and billows out the door. Was absolutely blown away by the graphics.

Regarding modding: the game has a ton of really cool mods to really extend gameplay. Just tons of cool mods from maps to tools to vehicles to missions. Anything you can think of. Creating mods is extremely easy and intuitive using the built-in editor. The Devs even provided extremely amazing documentation on their website and example mods to answer literally any question about building mods. Building maps for this game has been my absolute favorite aspect of the game. Mods are the reason why I have nearly 700 hours playing this game.

The best game ever! Definitely worth a buy!

Fun game! Its my go-to for long train rides as it doesn't make my laptop sound like a jet engine.

I should have known this game was a mistake when the tutorial insisted i punch the zombie heads "harder" in order to proceed..

Game was a very well designed fast paced horror with amazing ambiance & terrifying zombies. I found myself literally screaming and cowering in fear. The price of (free) was also really amazing!

My big issue with the game is really just the punch mechanic. When zombies are all over you and you're screaming, its really easy to forget that you're just a few feet away from the rest of your living room. Played this game for just a few minutes & now i have a broken tv.
A way to override this mechanic with buttons or something instead of physical punching would be greatly appreciated.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best VR experiences I've seen.

The story:
The story is truly the heart of this game. Go in for the story & you wont be disappointed! Its super creative & honestly adorable. I could feel the muscles in my face going numb from how much of a smile this brought me.

The puzzles:
The puzzles are the real gameplay element of the game. Sort of like an escape room guided by the narrative of the story. With that said, the puzzles did indeed feel just a bit too easy & they all mostly followed a similar formula. While it was enough to scratch an itch for a more relaxing/casual experience, I think it could have benefited from something a bit more challenging.
Even though they were somewhat easy, I really enjoyed most of the puzzles. One puzzle though felt like they relied on the clumsiness of VR controls to create artificial challenge (a pet peeve of mine), but the creativity of the puzzle I feel kind-of made up for it.

The VR:
The world within this game was super immersive & the environment was quite interactive. This game has some truly creative uses of VR.
The VR controls felt intuitive & everything was quite responsive. I did experience a couple instances where required items got stuck inside a wall.. Thankfully walking away tends to reset items, so it was fairly easy to get the items back.
The game felt well optimized to prevent motion sickness.

The value:
The game took me about 90 minutes to complete & cost me about $15. While it is definitely not the best value out there, I felt it was fair for the high quality experience that it provided. I don't anticipate this game to have any replay-ability, but I can definitely see myself going back to this game for the environment & story.

Overall:
Definitely one of the best VR experiences I've seen. Has a really cute story & really creative gameplay elements.
