A copy of Mount & Blade's combat system (but worse), combined with a boring meta-progression system.

There is no reason to buy this game - get M&B instead and enjoy 20x more content.

I've played this game for less than 10 hours, and I'm already tired of the grind.

After having finished the game - I can only recommend you to wait for the devs to fix this game before you buy it.

I played both the Alpha and the Beta version, and they looked surprisingly clean. But full release is riddled with bugs - ground combat is full of bugged abilities and mechanics (some of which have been around since the Alpha 1 year ago), space combat is unplayable, but most importantly - a lot of the story stuff is broken.

I finished the game, but the ending was kinda non-sensical: a lot of the epilogue slides were contradicting each other, some of them mention me doing something I never did, and a lot of the stuff goes in a completely different direction than what it logically should be.

You are best off waiting for the Definitive/Enhanced edition. I'm sure by then the game will be fantastic.


Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is an absolutely fantastic CRPG.

A great story and writing, many different companions (each with unique stories and personalities), choices that matter - this game has everything it needs to offer you an amazing CRPG experience.

I recommend this game to everyone who enjoys the genre - no matter if you are a 40k veteran or know nothing about 40k at all.

It's a worse version of Vermintide 2 for more than 5x the price. It's still fun but objectively a worse game. Optimization is also horrible, so don't expect more than 100fps unless you have an RTX 4090.

Get it when it's 50% off in a year or so.

Not really made for solo play.

Awesome city-builder game. Updates are very frequent and have a ton of content, but even at the current patch this game is super fun to play.

If you like Rimworld or similar games, you have to try out the demo at least.

I can attest that bots have improved massively over the last few months. Single-player is more fun and has fewer frustrating moments now. Can recommend.

Keeping this review negative until bots get fixed. Currently, they are game-breakingly bad.

Server problems (yes, that means you can't even play single-player right now), wait with your buy.

An amazing game; It will keep you entertained for hundreds of hours, even without the expansion!

Definitely a must-buy during summer sale.
