The New Colossus is a rollercoaster of a game. The story throws a lot of low and high punches at you; and it mostly succeeds. Mostly. Aside from that, the gameplay I found to be good, but not extremely engaging or anything like that.

Oxenfree is a very pretty game. Maybe it's just me, but outside of liking the aesthetic and the character dynamics, I wasn't very enthralled by the story. Granted, a lot of things I'm not entirely able to empathize with, but it still managed to make me play it twice at least and if you're a fan of character driven story games with minimal traditional gameplay (so a walking simulator but in a good way) then it's more than endorsed by me.

Nier: Automata is a japanese game. Worse than that, it's a japanese game made by a VERY eccentric japanese man and the main character is a sexy murderous robot dressed in a maid outfit with a shota as the companion. Not looking good. And yet everything below that first impression is both great in the traditional sense and even very thought-provoking. I think Shammy put it best when he said the journey from "What is this japanese sexy robot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" to "WHY is this japanese sexy robot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" is one you ultimately take with this game.
But still, Pod best boy

In contrast with 2033 and Exodus, Last Light's focus is entirely on the factions that inhabit the Metro. While in 2033 the Red Line and the Nazis were more a part of the backdrop for Artyom's journey, now they move the story along, allowing for a more in depth exploration of both groups. Granted, it's not like these two extreme ideologies have never been showcased, criticised or used as enemies before (Wolfenstein is just an example) but the rest of the context of Moscow's metro make it entertaining nonetheless. And talking about the rest, I would say it sadly falls just flat of 2033, but not by much. It's still a worthwhile experience to be had.

The nostalgia is strong in this one. I still remember being 9, playing against bots in the PS2 version with my best friend. Good times, best times.

Fallen Order the best of the prequels (the interesting ideas about the past of the Star Wars universe) and combines them with a dinamic reminiscent of the OG and sequel trilogy: the small group of outlaws against an overwhelming force. Paired with gameplay that doesn't disappoint, though it lacks some options at long range.

Compared to the other Metro games, 2033 focuses on showcasing it's world. The atmosphere of the stations, the state of the surface, how the people factor into it. Compared to Last Light, it accomplishes the world best, though the story falls a bit short. Thanks to Redux, gameplay is pretty similar in a lot of aspects like gunplay. The original version may have some artistic advantages, but this one is better suited for modern audiences.

I'm new to Dmc. Well, actually, I played DmC Reboot some months before 5, but I guess nobody wanted for me to mention that. I say this because even without the background of hardcore fan, this game still impressed me and rekindled my interest in hack and slash.

Now, it's true that Eternal wants you to play a certain way, and in that pursuit it leaves behind some player choice; at least in regular gameplay. No, you can't spam 2 or 3 weapons and get away, something that in 2k16 was easier done. But, the trade off for that is the most intense gameplay ever. Imagine all they praise DOOM for, but turned up to 11: the enemy variety, target prioritization, weapon variety and roles. Yeah, levels aren't a cinematic experience and the parkour is a bit much, but when you get to an arena and the game just throws a brick to the gas pedal, you quickly forget about that.

Dear reader: are you socially challenged? Haven't talked to a normal person in more than 6 months? Are you reading these with a commercial voice? If you answered yes, this game is for you. Set in a beautifully crafted hiking site in a park in Oregon, this game will grab from your nipples and walk you though all of it. And you are gonna like it. The main focus of the game, character interaction, is nearly perfect. Even if you don't particularly like walking simulator, you are most likely enjoying these game. 10/10 would ♥♥♥♥ up again.
