How To Not Get Scammed

1. No items need to be checked by a "steam official."
2. Only trade within steam and never send any item first.
3. +rep is practically useless and can be easily faked
4. I prefer trade offers over friend requests.
5. I do not trade with people who have "terms of service."
6. I do not trade with people who use "OPSkins" for the items.
7. I do not click on links.
8. I do not do "middleman" trades. Just trade offers is fine.
9. I always check prices 2-3 times before trading an item to make sure everything is going smoothly.
10. If something seems fishy, I'm out. I am not taking any risks losing my items for one trade.

Common Trading Terminology

1. [H] = What I want to offer.
2. [W] = What I want from you.
3. "Overpay" = The person offering wants an item(s) worth more than what they are offering.
4. "Lowball" = an offer worth less than their offer. It could be even slightly off and could still be considered a lowball depending on the trader.
