Adopting a puppy is weird. You begin by taking the puppy from her mom, brothers and sisters. That’s called kidnapping. You then keep the puppy as a hostage for the rest of its life. Meanwhile your hostage unconditionally loves you, is convinced you’re the greatest thing in the world, and will protect you the, captor. Stockholm Syndrome is a wonderful thing.
