The reason to like nimbatus is the drone constructing, which is done wery well. The variety of parts allows for many unique and fun designs. Sending your drone down to the planet and watching it do it's work as intended is very satisfying. Overall, the game feels polished.

However, there are some minor and one major issue. I personally play only singleplayer, so the following issues will only apply to singleplayer. The major issue is that the game is quite short. I've finished the survival with all pilots, except the programmer, in a few weeks. After retrieving your warp drive, the game unfortunatelly becomes pretty empty. You keep getting more and more resources to the point, when you don't need to worry about the Corp mothership destroying you as repairing your own is easyand becomes more of a chore. Finding more parts you don't have yet, is helpfull, but mostly it only gives your drone finishing touch. The minor issues include balancing of weapons (for example the granade launcher is hard to use because of its short range and lobing the granades betind a hill takes a long time. Sniper however, deals about the same amount of damage faster, and at longer ranges), balancing of the giant snakes (the ones on reguar planets are way more dangerous, than their temple counterpart), bugs with terrain generation (in the late stages, one in twenty planets has some form of a terrain bug), and a small number of other unremarkable things.

The reason for writing this essey about this game's issues, is to point at them, so that the game becomes even better. I'd really love to see the survival be larger, with more enemies, different kinds of planets, longer stroy, or more structural parts.
