lots of reused assets
good so far.
they're workign on patches for the weird prformance issues, but have issues a hot fix that fixes it for th most part.
that patch is why i bought this, and im happy so far.

dead on arrival, devs aren't doing anything to make their barely playable game better
they fixed MTX

busters get garbage exp and coins, monsters get showere din exp and coins
buster is nearly impossibel to win solo ( bc you are NEVER finding humqans ot play with ) and as a onstyer, you routinely win bc its BADL YBALANCED


a monster gains 600 exp fora win

a buster gets 40-100

you do the math

also there's TWO paid for battle passes
and TONS OF DLC
and the devs dont give a hairy crap about any of this.
game's dead on arrival, and its easy to see why

not global server,
poorly setuip asymmetrical gameplay
poor support
pooor devs
the list goes on
just avoid this garbage

HAvent played too much yet, but I have watched famous youtuber Manly Badass cereal play it, and I liked what I saw, so I bought it when it released.

I liek the humour, the visuals and the penchant for secrets in the game so far.
I also enjoy the die-live-repeat progression

slap dash made by probably a single person, the coding and optimizaiton shows
the game is woefully made " QuIrKy " and the humour is VERY hit or MISS.
mostly MISS.
its got potential, but its coded so poorl.y, so buggy, and so much rando crap out of your control happens that you will100% regret buying this once you get to a certina point

add to it saving only to your registry, no way to reset a save in game and just a plethora of other issue make me not question why i had never heard of this before I had found it.

it's a stinker.

nothign seems to hurt you, you just revolve cards for 7 turns per tier, and need to have earned X amount of souls by then

quick first impressions as Ive been ultra busy these last few weeks here.

Pretty decent and cute roguelike.
the characters all playa bit differently, and the control scheme reminds me f smash bros pretty heavily.
Thik of that , and the mobility offered through moves and thats themajority ofi the game.
you go therough small rooms, clearing enemeis and soaking up blood and using blood for currency and other thigns,.

some neat diversions like trial rooms and objectives that mix up hwo youplay.

the bosses are megaman esque- the look is megaman esque - the level creaiton felt great for the parts i had played

i onyl do not like the firefighter girl as shes kinda broken, but perhaps shes been patche dup for the full release.

ill add more context to this as i play more of the retial release, i just wanted ot leave positivity the game is owed, for being as good as it is.

shes pretty cute.
had some difficulty getting my playstaiton 4 conttolelr to work properly, the bindings just are weird if you use steam's api.
do yourself a favor and disable steam controler api l.ol


its fun so far for a first impression feels leagues better than the first game

Cult of the Bugs

too many to list here
but most are actually game-breaking and bad.
like being given a mission to marry a cult follower...only to realize theyre dead
or get a mission to resurrect a follower
and theyre not dead?

game not letting you unlock tier 3 of the skill tree for cult
certain rituals not working
buildings disappearing/ not workign anymore
bosses killing you post death, denying rewards AND progress

saves just outright bricking themsleves


it's a huge list, this is leik 4% of the bugs.
if you're waiting to play this, wait longer. they rushed this baby through Q&A so fast to meet a deadline given to them from corproate, there's no denying this.

you'd either have ot willingly release it with this many bugs, and put your stamp of approval on the product, or you were rushed to put it out, unfinished or not.

neither are good, but at least the latter gives you some wiggle room to maintain a level of decency

splendid little pixel art romp-a-roo in the now classic VS style gameplay, with all the usual fanfare a caiysware title offers.
as is tradition, the game releases in early access with a tiny helpingof the finished project and it's actually a lot of content as-is.

dev works on adding more, and polihing it up all nice and tidy
and its his cheapest game to date?
just buy it, save the money on a coffee, and support one of steam's greatest devs
