I should not have spent that much hours on the game and put them into other games instead

I'm a player since Dust line (second season of year 1 --> 2016) and it was once my favorite game:

Early days siege up until 2018 maybe still 2019 was great. Sure it had bugs like other games and it wasn't perfect overall, but i enjoyed it really hard like many others.
After that period of time, Ubisoft slowly delivered ♥♥♥♥ up after ♥♥♥♥ up and made the game to a pile of garbage that does not focus on reality but tries to impress with future technology. The game suffered from many extremely bad season starts to game breaking bugs and a cheater issue that wont be fixed because it does not get Ubisoft any direct money. Often there are bugs over entire seasons that do not get fixed and take away your fun of playing. They lost complete touch to the community and seem to not care anymore. You get offered more cosmetics to buy rather they tend to fix the game. In terms of the cosmetics they don't even look good anymore. Back in velvet shell for example, you got 4 beautiful seasonal skins to choose from. Now you get only one that is uglier than any dump you ever took.
Balancing is still a problem. After they balance something, give them a few seasons and they reverse most of it. Some of the balances are stupid on top of that, which just ruin the little fun that the game still can give you. Just like the Frost rework, that made a good Operator since the first season of siege bad.
Same crap with maps, reworking maps is a great idea to begin with and you had to do it on some maps, but out of all the maps that got reworked there are just 3-4 good reworks that improved the maps. Besides that we only get map reworks and not even one new map per year or so now. We are up to a point where they reworked every vanilla map instead of delivering a real new one in the last 2 years. They rather use certain areas of old maps and copy paste them together to create a ♥♥♥♥ "new" map like stadium.
The community as it is, is horrible, unfriendly, racist and often toxic without a reason. They try to prevent that with the reputation system which is a great invention if it would work rightfully. I often recognized that the reputation system rewarded me more often if I stayed totally silent. That means not typing "gg" or even giving friendly recommendations to other players often rewarded you with nothing or in some cases even negative reputation. Sure, I have to admit I also raged that affected the reputation obviously negative but it is not acceptable to call it a reputation system if being friendly does not affect the reputation rank and staying quiet all the time affects you in the most positive way up to a rank that's called "Exemplary". Then you can call it "Silencing system" right from the start.
Back in the beginning of the game you could actually meet people that turn into friends like it gladly happened to me but nowadays its close to being impossible.

I wish I could give Siege a positive review or speak good about it because there are aspects of the old better version of the game that still remain and I love. Sadly nowadays the bad aspects overweight it so much, that the game turns into an unenjoyable and totally frustrating game.

Don't buy it, it just costs you your peace of mind and your sanity as well.

Edit: Ubisoft still delivers fail after fail ... who would have thought otherwise ...
