Get used to respawning, get used to keeping your head down. Very intense game. Dont let it turn you off because you wont even see the enemy for your first few games. as war is, you often dont even see the shooter. but after you aclimate yourself to the game, things slowly begin to make sense. i recomend you start simple, turn your identification markers to the maximum distance, and just have fun.

Rust has been my go to game for many years. Even after long breaks, i always seem to come back to it.

This game has a very good crafting system and is one of the most enjoyable games ive ever played. The developers stay on top of problems like no other Alpha ive ever played, better even than most Betas. Building ships in creative mode has taken over my days, and is the most fun ive had in a long time. If Rust and Space Engineers were to have a baby, this would be it. 9 out of 10 for this game for me, and i have never given a 10. at the time of this post i have 284 hours in this game.

New review at 800 hours and Version 10

Im big on FPS type survival games, but the crafting and building are my passion. I dont care for a game that is combat only, and im not good at combat, but with out it, a game of this type would be dull. This game became the perfect combo for me. Its seems to me this game is a survival crafting game with combat elements, not a combat game with crafting elements. Its the perfect combo for thos who like to take their time to build things, and enjoy the scenery a bit. I dont enjoy spending my game looking down the barrel of a gun constantly. That being said, you MUST defend yourself, and combat will always eventualy come. The crafting system is the most enjoyable i have ever used, and more content is added all the time. The Developers are on top of this one.
