So, halfway through Cruelty mode as of right now. To preface, depending on what class you play, it gives you a very different experience. I am playing a Monk, but there are a few things I should mention before I get into what I think is good about the game.

The Bad:

Respec-ing your skill tree at later levels is incredibly expensive, and the developers are randomly nerfing what is overpowered (i.e., trigger spells in the latest patch). I would ask the developers to either make respec-ing cheaper, especially for early access when things change so frequently. Even without the patch changes, difficulty spikes hit like a truck, and I have had to farm just gold for an hour or two so I could afford a respec to progress. Which is kind of a turn-off.

Certain things in the game are kind of obnoxious, like "on-death" effects on certain mobs. When your entire screen is filled with particle effects, it’s hard to notice little glowy crystals on the floor that one-shot you when you kill something. The same thing happens with golden mobs that cause corpses to explode. It’s uninteractive and doesn’t feel very good. Either nerf these or make it more obvious when these things are on the screen.
One-shots in general are kind of an issue in this game. It’s completely fine when it’s a telegraphed attack, but when it happens and feels like you could do nothing about it, it’s just infuriating.

Certain builds are incredibly weak or overpowered at different stages of the game. Seeing this rounded off to have a smoother progression of damage and tankiness would be nicer. Referencing the respec-ing again, this is quite a turn-off.

The Good:

God, this game looks good. Everything on the screen looks amazing and runs really well, even on my 3060.

The build variety (if you have a good foundation) is really nice. Being able to slightly respec a few points and notice a big difference is really satisfying. Getting the gear you need might take a while, but once it starts coming together, it’s incredibly rewarding.

Mob variety is really nice. There are lots of different types of enemies, and they all have their own mechanics, which really breathe life into the game.

There's a lot more I can get into in terms of the good but literally everything else about this game is perfect, I highly recommend you just dive in and see whats right for you.

All in all, I recommend it. The issues the game has at the moment with the campaign are at least playable, even if a bit annoying. The difficulty honestly isn’t too bad for my class, at least aside from the one-shots.

Can’t wait to see the rest of the content the developers add. 9.5/10—cannot recommend it enough to anyone who likes these types of looter, Diablo 2-type games. The tutorial alone was leagues better then any experience I had with Diablo 4.

Edit 1: Thank you developers, they have already patched alot of the one shots out of the game and have added quality of life improvements to the difficulty. The respec is so affordable now and you have plenty of gold left over.
They are buffing certain things as well and overtime the early game balance has already improved on my second character.
9.9/10

I didn't know what to expect from this game but it definitely delivered. Great characters, Story and development genuinely unsettling. Terrific game 10/10. It's only short took me 2-3 hrs to finish.

I cannot recommend enough.

Just finished the game and I can say with confidence it's a 10/10. It's a short enough game but the combat and progression are well paced and the game doesn't let itself fall victim to giving the illusion of content by just making the game longer or adding long gaps in-between upgrades (campaign is around 6-12 hours long completely depending on where you go in the open world and how quick you adapt to the movement systems, I rushed through it and got it done in around 5).

The movement is arguably some of the best I have seen from a shooter, despite moving so quick and the gun play requiring good accuracy you feel completely in control of your character.
Between the perk choices and how agile your character is you can cut through the game but it will still give you a challenge in later segments.

Outside of the campaign there isn't much to do, I hope they add a endless/ rogue like mode at some-point as I wish they was a rogue-like game with movement this good.

Perfect game only fault is that I ran out of game to play.

If you like movement shooters this is a one of a kind experience compared to the rest of the market. All in all a perfect blend of systems and game play making the perfect campaign along with a amazing foundation for future content.(which the devs have said at that they will add more stuff)

I purchased this game after I seen the developers take on pirating games and how culture shouldn't only be available to those who can pay. I tried it before but I couldn't get into it coming back to it now its a brilliant game takes a moment to get the hang of how to manage synergism of the weapons and the various systems at play but once you do it's extremely satisfying. Things like the parry system may seem gimmicky and out of place at first but once you get used to it, it feels natural. It's extremely polished just got into the second layer of act 2 and I can say the game keeps giving and nothing feels recycled and the story is pretty engaging, can't wait to play more of it. 10/10 one of the best single player shooters I have played in a while.

Phenomenal game, I felt a bit of rogue-like burnout and tried many different games and sadly none would reignited the passion I have for the genre, then I came across Tiny rogues, the amount of depth this game is is absolutely staggering, sometimes a build gets so out of control it feels insane. Leveling up the world also consistently adds to difficultly and I cannot wait to experience more of it.

I have no criticism for the game-play as a aspiring game dev, its fantastic and I wish I could create something as fun.

(Only quality of life feature I pray will be added soon is the ability to save mid run as they can take a while.)
The dev has seemed to have taken a break or is working on a big patch regardless the game is almost is already a finished game and is well worth the time the content alone blows most roguelikes out of the water. All the easter eggs and references to other titles always makes me wonder what else will appear.

10/10

Really good game love it. Reminds me of the old flash strategy games but fully expanded on to have lots of depth and lots of composition combinations. If you like idle games you'll like it if you like rogue like build elements you'll like it. It's really good. Pick it up while it's on sale.

For example there's like 30 classes each with there own ability's like resurrecting characters, blasting enemy's with high damage spells, cc mages, taunt tanks, assassins, debuffs, elemental affinities (ice, fire, curse, holy, magic). Each character has stats which changes how you spec the character. 4 items slots which there is a huge variety of provided percentage buffs, flat damage etc. THEN ON TOP OF IT ALL. 4 perk slots which let you get experience buffs/ damage, tank perks etc.

You get the idea. Highly recommended.

Nifty little game, mechanics seem well thought out and I'm sure it will get better with time, however there's been no marketing done for this game and there's battle pass / 20 eu + skins and personally that's a red flag to me.

Games with overpriced cosmetics and no marketing done, at launch typically are just cop outs for games that they have no intention of supporting and with ubisoft's history of just trying to fleece its players for money i.e. (we heard this before with hyperscape) in their online games I cannot recommend it. I went to the discord to ask about it and I was told the game is in early access and that the player numbers will be built "slow and steady".

Personally i would recommend waiting to see if they actually make this game a fleshed out experience or if its just a cheap cash grab with an unfinished product they aren't bothered developing further.

If you need some more examples, (Skull and bones, hyperscape, r6 extraction, starlink) it goes on.

Shame talented Devs and a potentially good game are being rushed into a early access for skin selling on release for a quick buck.

At a first glace looks pretty mid, however honestly the game play is amazing and the build diversity. Feels like Overcooked crossed with some bullet hell roguelike aspects hidden gem
