its a cute little background app for doing work.

pros:
- customisable room
- customisable playlists & ambient noise
- free. no harm done giving it a go.

cons:
- the avatars have a skin colour slide thats very ashy and unnatural for everything darker than porcelain
- furniture options are pretty limited without the dlc

fun and free. what more could you ask for other than for mcafee to stop mistaking it for malware.

its a fine little game. the description is accurate, it takes five minutes or less to get all three endings, plus it's free, so i'd say worth a go.

a lot of the negative reviews say the game itself supports transphobic rhetoric, and believe me, the "only YOU can decide whos really trans" at the start of the game really had me worried that i'd accidentally downloaded terf.exe, but i *do* think its pretty clear that the game is commenting on those views rather than endorsing them. the best ending is the one where you take at face value that arle is who she says she is.

in the worst ending, arle doesnt come back to the gender therapist, and the therapist dismisses her as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ being trans, that she wasn't serious about transitioning. but WE see is that she DOES still transition, she just goes takes the more dangerous unlicensed route. its clear that we arent supposed to be on the therapists side.

definitely cw for depictions of transphobia, though! not a happy game! stay safe!

ignore the store description, its impossible to figure out what you're supposed to be doing without baseline medical knowledge. it gives you absolutely no guidance whatsoever. if you're a med student who wants some practice, you might have a good time, but otherwise? nah.

ts an interesting concept for a game, plus its free, so you aren't losing anything by giving it a whirl, but if you're looking for a medical sim that's grounded in reality, maybe give project hospital a try instead.

the store page neglects to mention this, and the warning upon opening the game is vague, so content warning for suicidality, self harm, drug use, (non explicit) ♥♥♥ & s|ut shaming.

edgy for the sake of being edgy with a gameplay loop that quickly gets tedious if you try to do more than one ending. its just dark themes for the shock value and a surface level "fame and internet bad" message that doesnt actually say anything interesting. ame is an incredibly boring character; there's very little to her aside from being both depressed and attractive. the more you play the less likeable she becomes.

its the time old "cutesy aesthetic meets f*cked up content" but somehow more vapid than usual.

positives: your first playthrough is fun enough and the presentation of the game is inventive, lovely art, internet overdose ending was fun. overall, though, not worth the asking price. if it interests you, nab it on sale.

very fun little game with charming pixel art that manages to be consistently funny without overstaying its welcome. very short, but well worth the price.

Lets get this out of the way: this is very much a dangranronpa fan game without the Hope's Peak branding. Down to the evil mascot saying "upupu" and the blood being pink.

Calling it a rip off like some other reviews do, though, is unfair to how earnest and surprisingly well constructed this is. It isn't especially deep, there are points that feel really contrived, and after a certain point I think it's pretty obvious who the killer is, but you can really feel the genuine heart going into it and above all else, it's just a pretty good time!

The art is... rough. You get used to the (main) sprites pretty quick and in the end I don't think they were a problem. The teacher sprites are a step down from those and also in a completely different art style, which is jarring, but again, you get used to them. The CGs are......................................well. hm. they're something.

Gameplay-wise, it's a visual novel, but the puzzles you've got to deal with are well thought out and challenging. They're mostly knowledge or calculation based (if you can't stand doing math, don't play or just use the achievement guide lol). Trial sections definitely have a couple of leaps of logic, but for the most part its stuff you can figure out.

Not a must play by any means, but it's fun and it's free and it has achievements. I got way more invested in the mystery than I thought I would.
