Dear Sony,

Give me The Last of Us one and two, the full Uncharted series, and God of War.
Keep releasing some good single player story driven games to PC and I will keep buying them.

As for Days Gone -
The port is honestly fantastic, they've added all the settings that you would expect to see on a PC game.
I have an RTX3090 paired with an i7 9700k running it at 1440p everything maxed out and was easily getting 140+FPS consistently.

The mechanics are good and the controls are decent, you wouldn't have guessed that the game was made to be on a controller. My only gripe with the whole game was that I wanted to be able to free aim my gun while riding. None of this lock onto enemies stuff. This certainly didn't tarnish my play though, but I woulda loved to be able to pop some zombie heads while cruising around on my chopper.

The story was great, thoroughly enjoyed it. You could probably sink a lot more time than I did into the side quests if you wanted, but they can become a bit samey. A fair few of them had interesting stories that tied in with the main quest line though. It all felt very natural.

It really is a shame that they aren't making another, however they did tie up the story quiet nicely.

All in all, I got nearly 50 hours of playtime, and I am very happy with my purchase.

If Sony change their mind and allow bend studios to make a sequel, it is something that I would certainly pick up.

Cannot stop playing.

At 115 hours I still can't stop.

9 hours in and I just wanted to add; this is absolutely worth every penny.


Finished the game now, thought it was absolutely fantastic, highly recommend.

Only issue that I felt was that the Gonarch battle was unbalanced in comparison to the rest of the game. I played through on hard and was stuck battling Gonarch for a good couple of hours before I decided to wind the difficulty down to 'black mesa'. After that I felt Gonarch was too easy, took me one death to beat the nasty ballbag spider then.

Or I was just need to git gud. One of the other.

Eitherway overall brilliant game, props to these guys for making it, and props to Valve for letting them sell it on steam, they definitely deserve the money I paid for it. To be perfectly honest, I'd still have been happy to pay £20.
