tough skill-based game

Incredible gameplay, music, art scene, and plot twist. Basically all you ask for in a RPG game. The cut scenes are next next compare to any other game that I have played, almost movie-like with tons of emotions conveyed not only by conversation, but also music and surrounding scenes. The map is also fun to explore, taking tens of hours without you noticing it with the high level map design.

Some downsides are the sorting of luminas is very painful, which should be an easy fix with some updates. And on the third chapter of the game, the battling experience is kind of compromised with one optimal build, which I am not going to specify but everyone knows what it is. This particular broken character and one move makes all the battles in the third stage lack of interaction. I believe though it should be also an easy fix.

Overall it is the best game I have played so far this year, and at present, I would undoubtedly give my vote for it as GOTY. The music, art design, plot are all top notch, setting an incredibly high standard for new generation JRPGs.

As a Chinese player who is familiar with the Journey to the West story and always had the monkey king as the first ever childhood hero, this game is all that I can ever hope for. I proudly recommend this game to all.

Masterpiece. Insane amount of monsters, figures, and content waiting to be found. Extremely complex world makes it so convincing. Not beginners friendly though to say the least.

Smooth story telling, master camera language and breath-taking scenes for a 2015 game. This is a wonderful game which I would call an art form along side with movies. It is proven by CDPR that games can tell a story well like movies do with Harry Potter or Game of Throne with enough work put in and a genius mind.
