I cannot express how much I love this game, the gameplay is simple enough to understand what you're doing yet complex enough to make you consider how your builds are. The music and vocals are amazing and have been on loop in my playlists for the last 9 months. The art is simple yet shines at certain moments, melding and wrapping up with everything else perfectly.

My top game of 2023 and my current fav game. I cannot wait for more content to come.

This a fun game with genuine dialogue that puts itself seriously in its own world while also going along with how stupid and absurd the world is.
Best example I can give is when characters use :) and :D during dialogue and it feels so natural and genuine from the way they talk that I can't help but chortle or laugh irl

So I want to like this game, I really do, it has a few big problems that make it really hard to enjoy.
Firstly, its a new concept that really works in principal, you kill someone or get killed, get a chance to rewind it. The game itself works in theory. Its okay looking, given the era, I kinda expected better quality given the era where League of Legends, Overwatch, and even freaking fortnite exists.

Problems, 1, really really bad control scheme to start out in my opinion.
2, The game is constantly freezing mid cycle, start of match and end of match
3, The game turns into eseentially 1v1 the moment you encounter a skilled player, I have had matches where it didn't matter what we did in round 1 and 2 because the 3rd rewind is all that mattered, with a good rifle player the game is over.
4, Following up with how it looks, the sounds and whole theme of "IN THE FUTURE" just feels bad and very cringy.
5, Weapons are very very uneven, play 15 games, see who uses lasers.
6, No melee attack, not saying its bad, just should prob give one given how the rifle works
7, The lag, the game lags for some reason, maybe its my PC that can run Overwatch on 60FPS perfectly fine, maybe my wifi sucks but right now the game lags too much.
8, Its too fast but also too slow, the matches are fast don't get me wrong but aiming and flicking feels near impossible in this game and don't get me started on the jumping which is makes it near impossible to know due to lack of feeling weight, the sounds and effects don't feel the match your movements when jumping.
9, The play fields look the same. They're all the same un-inspired futuristic arenas, PLEASE FIX THAT!
10, Aimbotters, fix this please.
tl;dr The game and its idea is great but rn, the controls, designs, and balance(and some anti cheats) are lacking, I'm hoping in a year the game gets better

Its like Street fighter but with girls, like 2 or so 'guys'(which are dlc) and so so much more fun.

This game is amazing! With two different story campaigns and more likely to be added, the game has crazy amounts of replayablity even if your aren't a completionist since both character have different stats for like speed and jump height and even relics whats more though a little cliche the adorable love between the characters for both Plague and Shovel knight is adorable! Still, the game is a plat former and there are some areas that are painfully hard and difficult to pass, I was screaming and sobbing on the bed and floor several time. Still like every platformer you learn from your mistakes and there are check points and infinite lives. And again the love is adorable in this game. Bit like love, but still love.
