The Levels are definitely more packed with enemies than in DS1. That might be why people say this is a bad game.

My experience is completely contrary to that sentiment though. Absolutely amazing game. It tried a few new things, some worked, some didnt. FromSoft still put out an 9/10 game where intelligent gameplay is rewarded, more than just bonking your way through like in DS1 and DS3.

Havent played the DLCs yet, but i am hyped for them too.

Masterpiece.

This is the best game i have ever played. Perfect worldbuilding and lore that you only find out after time, piecing it together from various parts scattered in dialogue, descriptions or topology of this beautifully crafted masterpiece of a game world. The fights are always extremely difficult and i absolutely adore it. Nothing beats the exhilerating feeling of perfecting a boss and ending him in a flawless run. My words cant really describe how awesome this game truly is. You just have to feel it yourself.

The best Combat Experience ever. Once you realize the way the game is to be played, its truly a magnificent experience.

Best level design I have ever seen in my entire life. A bit janky, due to the time when it released, but still very enjoyable. Praise the Onion!
