Leon is bae and also a total baby in this game

Controls are a little funky and it feels sluggish at times but I'm really attached to Billy and Rebecca's stories. No item boxes make the game tedious and the dated door animations, grab animations and hud make the games pace slower than it needs to be and the camera angle can make it hard to pick up items or see the enemy you're shooting at. I also had a few hard times finding out where to go and what to do next and I can't tell if that's because of my poor game sense or just poor game layout but for all my criticisms though it makes up for it with interesting characters, great atmosphere, puzzles that still stand as good puzzles to this day and the lore that it provides to the overall Resident Evil universe as a whole. My first ever Resident Evil game and, for all of it's flaws, still manages to be a fun ride.

one of the best games of all time. it's historically formative for video games as a whole on top of being, witty, fun, and challenging you to be as creative as possible with a ton of fun little achievements to get while you make your way around each stage.
