GRIS is one of those rare games that feels more like a piece of art than a traditional game. From the second you start, the visuals just pull you in, everything about it is so beautifully crafted. The color changes throughout the game are such a cool way of showing the emotional journey of the main character. It starts in gray, which makes sense because she’s in a tough place, but then as she grows and overcomes challenges, the world slowly bursts into color. It’s so simple but so effective.

The gameplay is pretty chill, more about movement and puzzle-solving than action, but it fits the tone of the game perfectly. I love how you can just lose yourself in the world, enjoying the landscapes, the music, and the story, which isn’t told through words but through how everything feels. It’s all about atmosphere, and GRIS nails it. If you’re looking for a relaxing but emotionally rich experience, you can’t go wrong with this one.

I went into SOMA thinking it was just another survival horror game, but it ended up being so much more. The atmosphere is tense from the start, but it doesn’t rely on cheap scares. Instead, it pulls you into this world that’s full of mystery and makes you ask some seriously deep questions. You’re stuck in an underwater facility with strange creatures, but as you explore, the game starts messing with your mind. The story about consciousness, AI, and what makes us human gets pretty heavy, and honestly, there were moments when I had to just sit back and think about what was happening.

What’s wild is that the game doesn’t shove all its big questions in your face right away. It builds up slowly, and by the end, you’re left questioning everything, like, what’s real? What is life? And, more importantly, do I even want to know the answers? I won’t spoil anything, but the ending left me with a lot to chew on long after I put the controller down.

Gameplay-wise, it’s definitely more about exploration and puzzle-solving than action. You’ll get chased by a few monsters, but it’s more about the dread of being trapped in this eerie, lonely place. It’s the kind of game where you’ll be uneasy, even when you’re just walking down a hallway, because you never really know what’s lurking around the corner. If you want a game that’ll stick with you long after you finish it, SOMA is definitely worth the ride.
