As a fairly newcomer to Stellaris last year I find it fascinating and engaging. I'ts text boxes and tons of menus but in a slick very customisation way, I like how you can add components that enhance certain parts of the game you like. Tailor make scenarios of every sci fi concept (pretty much). Every play through with a new DLC is different and amazingly so, yes its steeply priced lot of the time but its always worth chucking 15 quid at it every few months. I would reccomend as starting DLC, Utopia, Galactic Paragons, Leviations and maybe another story pack of your choice. Definatly worth it. (First review of a steam game ever for me ;p ).
