IT IS A GOOD GAME; BUT!!!
it has some issue, I dunno what, but it absolutely chugs resources. I can literally hear my high end pc screaming at the top of their fans when playing this. There is some optimization bug or a resource leak or something. So beware, it might just be unplayable. Try it I guess.
Its a good and fun game. Just not worth blowing up my computer fun

EDIT: CHEK THE FPS LIMITER, it is supposed to solve the issue. I'll try it later. If it solves the issue, then this game is a hearty recommend. It is very good. Cheers

This is criminal. How has this game recieved this little fanfare is downright unfair.
Listen here and listen well, for this sh.t here is worth a tell.

Take trackmania's high speed precision arcade driving on unreal gravity defying tracks, Thats your base, and a solid one at that.
Now give it a flaming wall of death chasing you, so that you HAVE to drive at full speed, non stop, while pulling sick lines, Here lies the adrenaline, you can FEEL the wall getting closer as you hit that boosted line with all you've got.
Now, give it a 3rd degree of complexity rooted in rocket league's aribone aspect, where you hover instead of just boost, Here lies the originality and crazier track compositions, multiple leveled tracks like something sonic would have. (I kid you not, this analogy is not that far off when coupled with other mechanics, I can see this being what 3d sonic speed sections wanted to be before sh.t.ng the bed)
Now add to that a very specific way of drifting, which is not something that comes just in tight corners, but it's meant to be used as a way to maintain top speed consistently, Here lies the mastery, since you HAVE to dominate this mechanic for you to go the distance.

Add now, a f.k.ng straight up BOPPING electronic soundrack that will keep your f.ck.ng serotonin receptors asking for a break, for they cant take any more of this.

THE WHOLE F.CK.NG TRACK IS IN SINC WITH THE MUSIC. EVERYTHING PULSES, BEATS AND KICKS IN TUNE WITH THE KICKASS ELECTRONIC BEATS. THE WHOLE WORLD IS DANCING WITH YOU WHILE YOU ZOOM LIKE A BULLET IN A F.CK.NG CYBER RAVE AT MACH SPEED WILE DOING MOLLY IN A STORM OF LAZERS AND FLASHING LIGHTS.

If I could slap you on the face for not buying it already, I would. But I cant, so all I can do is ask you kindly. Its dirt cheap, its worth every cent, its the proud work of a non compromising vision carried out to its fullest. It runs like a dream, it plays exactly like you imagine it does, and the style points are off the charts, even the hud has style without sacrificing function.
And its FUN, its really, really FUN. Its also very short session friendly.
Plus, community tracks, and a great ghost system to see how the top time did it while you play.

How this is not a global sensation is beyond me. Dont miss out on this.

Its fun, Its free, I cant buy any advantages that I know of. And it currently has 10 times more players than all other fighters combined. So, yeah, high fives all around

Then they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up by taking down a game for which they have been charging money. Dont ever forget this. No matter how good a game is (which this isn't. its just fine) it does not justify the biggest ♥♥♥♥ move in recent time

This is so long. So stuffed to the brim with content. I am so sick of playing it and I am at the 3/4ths mark I think. I am atm 170hs deep. This is a time investment of a game. Be aware of that. With that said, yeah, its good.

El que no es un niño rata, es un enfermo del rango que te va a vivir puteando toda la partida porque no hiciste el quickscope 360 invertido en el minuto 1.30 como es debido, y el que no es un enfermito de mierda es un brasilero. Ese es ooootro tema. Si no hablas un poquito de portugues, agarrate. y si hablas, agarrate igual. Te puede tocar un brasilero que es un amor y tiene altas ganas de pasarla bien, como te puede tocar la persona mas xenofobica que viste en tu puta vida, que te va a tratar de "boludito" los 60+ minutos de la partida y te va a querer kickear por, denuevo, no haber hecho el quickscope 360 invertido en el minuto 1:30 version brasilera a la perfeccion, momento en donde vas a escuchar "boludito de mierda" seguido de 4 clicks que son los votos para kickearte.
Fantasticas mecanicas de juego. Hace 10 años que es lider por algo.
Vas a pasar cada segundo odiando a todos, y sobre todo odiandote a vos mismo por estar jugandolo.

Great game, do try it.
The monetization model is cosmetic and xp boosters, but xp has no effect on gameplay since it only gives cosmetic rewards via battlepass.
Gameplay is smooth, optimization is great, servers are okay from my experience but the gameplay is not affected by high ping since its more maneuver focused than split second aiming or stuff like that.
matches are fun, the length is just right for a quick session.
Great launch for this kind of game. absolutely pleased with it. absolutely recommended

Technical and design excelence wherever you look. Absolutely amazing game, full, and I mean FULL of content, a gripping story full of lovely characters that are written to make them feel like actual people and not archetypes to fill plot flags, a fully fledged, combat system, full of skills, builds, and nothing feeling like an afterthought, the kind of combat that gets the devs to create cups so that we can keep fighting stuff after the credits roll with top tier equipment to test builds and keep challenging ourselves.
I cant write enough about the absolute excelence this game provides in gameplay, puzzle (so many dungeons and long, satysfying puzzles, and in the overworld every screen you are in has some hidden treasures where you have to use parkour to traverse the area to get, making each one a mini puzzle), enemy design (which is top notch, exploiting the best parts of the combat system), art style (pixel art made ART, absolutely breathtaking the first time you get to see how everything moves, the attacks, the zones, the enemies, the enviroments), character design (each one being amazing, even the ones you think will be either obnoxious or throwaway at the start, get absolutely lovely). Seriously, every thing this game does, it does it excelent.
It has a demo, play it, try it and you will see, this is game of the year for me, and will forever be one of my favourite games ever. It made me laugh, shout at the screen at plot points, cry, I cant recommend it enough.
its super cheap, but its worth 10 AAA games. There is no chance you will be dissapointed.
