7.33, the patch that killed DotA. The thing that made me play dota for multiple years is the simplicity yet dynamic art of the game. Even though it did not have a lot of mechanics in the game, it was still enjoyable to play just because of the amount of heroes and different playstyles that you can do. However, with this patch, everything became incredibly complicated with highly questionable hero changes making everything so chaotic and prone to exploitation. Who knows how many exploits exist in this garbage pile of changes? So goodbye to the game I used to love to play with my friends. Congrats to IceFrog and Valve on this new chapter of their game. I know you made these changes to attract more players and grow the franchise to compete with the likes of LoL, Mobile Legends etc but it just isn't for me anymore and a lot of it's original players. It was already a high skill cap game and then you add these pointless mechanics and made the original adequate map even bigger for no reason. I can't believe I am signing off after all these years of gameplay but what can we do? It's not enjoyable anymore even though you win or lose because it's just so chaotic now.

Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt as most of them do not make sense and some are just complaining that there is no MMO and that Intrepid studios is just cash-grabbing because of all of the cosmetics they have. First of all, read the description, this is an Early access game. This is not the full MMO game that we are waiting for. Secondly, you don't have to buy the cosmetics. They do not throw it in your face like some games do. Thirdly, combat is clunky but it does not "suck". It is challenging at times especially if your opponents are BR veterans but do not put up a negative review just because you suck at it.

I understand that this game is in early access so there will be some technical difficulties along the way but overall, the core combat gameplay is excellent especially the ranged combat. The melee combat needs to be improved because it is not as dynamic as I want it to be compared to other games.

I surely hope this game continues its development and I will continue to play it despite the negative reviews. I am excited to see the PvE gameplay because the PvP is already fun for me. If you are fan of fantasy action combat gameplay then you should definitely try this game out, it's free.
